FAQ’s

Are paper hand towels better than centrefeed rolls to dry hands?

It’s not something we would recommend as Centrefeed rolls are manufactured to be a wiping roll for spillages and wiping surfaces. We would always advise that for hand drying, you should only use specific hand towels designed for exactly that.

What is the difference between C-Fold and Interleaved towels?

It’s hard to believe there would be such a big difference between C-Fold paper towels and interleaved paper towels. In fact, it’s a known fact that if you use a C-Fold, you will have up 30% more waste in comparison. The reason for this is how the towel is folded. Most users will not unfold a towel hence taking more to dry hands. Interleaved towels are a ready open towel so you can use the complete, open towel too absorb liquid and dry hands properly.

What will happen if i put paper towels down the toilet?

We would never recommend standard paper towel should be flushed down the toilet. We do offer flushable paper towels that would work fine. So, unless you want to spend lots of money calling out drain unblocking companies, don’t do it!

Can paper hand towels be recycled?

Good question! The short answer is no. Different grades of tissue are used when manufacturing hand towels. Recycled green and blue is commonly used for our economy range and cannot be recycled. We also use recycled tissue in some of our 2ply white range. You can however recycle pure tissue towels.
